With Rocksteady, children learn to play and perform music in their very own band through weekly rock and pop lessons. It’s the perfect way to learn new musical skills, make friends and have fun – all at school!
Being enrolled in the programme is shown to boost confidence, wellbeing and social skills. Rocksteady is even shown to boost academic achievement, with 88% of teachers reporting a positive impact on other areas of the curriculum as a result of being on the Rocksteady programme.
Your child will learn to play songs instantly through listening and playing. There is no music theory involved and lessons are fun, inclusive and accessible – with termly school concerts that give children the chance to show off their musical skills for parents, friends and teachers. They will be making progress in every lesson and can also achieve an Ofqual-regulated music qualification, accredited by Trinity College London, without having to take a single exam.
