Can my child play in their friend’s band?

When you sign up, your child will automatically be enrolled in a band based on their year group and instrument choice. 

It isn’t always possible to guarantee children are placed with specific friends. But sometimes it can be done depending on availability within that band.

It’s also good to know that children’s band mates often become great friends. This is thanks to the shared experience of learning music and performing together, so either way they’ll have a great time.

Even if it is not possible for your child to play in the same band as their friend, don’t worry, band leaders are highly trained in making sure that every child feels included and supported while progressing and enjoying their band lessons.
