We’re sorry to hear this. When a child signs up to guitar, this can either be the electric guitar or bass guitar. Both have the same wellbeing benefits, such as hand-eye coordination and improved cognitive function – most importantly, they’re both really fun to play!
If your child would still like to change instrument, please speak to our customer service team 0330 113 0330 (local rate). Our offices are open Monday - Thursday 8am-8pm, Friday 8am-6pm. and they will add your child to the waiting list for the electric guitar. Don’t worry, they’ll still be able to play bass while they wait for electric guitar, and we’ll let you know when a place on electric guitar becomes available.
You can also do this on your Backstage account. Here's how to update your child's instrument preferences:
• In your Backstage, go to your child’s name and select “Make Changes” and then click “Change Instrument or Band”.
• Update your instrument preferences.
• Save your updates
