We’re really sorry to hear this.
To explain a little more about our approach, Rocksteady teaches children to play music together as a band by focusing on fundamentals such as timing and synchronisation, alongside introducing instrument technique and performance skills. This makes learning to play an instrument fun and accessible to more children and removes barriers to music, which can boost confidence, wellbeing and life skills.
All Rocksteady children have the opportunity to achieve an Ofqual-regulated exam-free music qualification, accredited by Trinity College. This is an incredible accomplishment for children who can progress their musical skills by simply doing what they love and having fun while playing in a band.
You can keep track of your child’s progress through your termly Rocksteady Round-ups which are a visual summary of everything they have been learning in band lessons. Rocksteady Round-up is available to view in your dedicated Backstage account.
If you are concerned about progress, please let our customer service team know so they can look into this for you and share this feedback with your child’s band leader. You can contact our customer services team on 0330 113 0330 (local rate) or by emailing info@rocksteadymusicschool.com. Our offices are open Monday–Thursday 8am–8pm, Friday 8am–6pm.
