What are the musical skills they have gained?

The skills your child is gaining in band lessons will depend on what instrument they are learning. Rocksteady pupils work through a unique curriculum of up to 300 musicianship, performance and instrument skills, and their band leader will be logging new skills all the time.  

The best way to keep track of the skills they are learning is by visiting your Backstage account. Here you’ll find their Timeline, which is automatically updated with new skills and milestones achieved. This is where you’ll also be able to view your child’s termly Rocksteady Round-up, which is a visual summary of everything your child is doing in their band lessons, including new skills learned and what’s still to come!
