We’re sorry to hear your band leader was absent. We know how much children look forward to their lessons, and how disappointing it is when the lesson can’t go ahead.
To explain a little more about how our subscription works, there are 36-39 teachable weeks that band lessons could be available to you within the academic year (Sept –July). We know things like unexpected activity clashes at your school may occur during the year, so to account for this, your monthly subscription guarantees a minimum of 33 lessons each academic year (including concerts), or a pro rata amount if you join later in the year.
We do keep a careful eye on this, and in the unlikely event it looks like the band may fall below their guaranteed lesson count, we will work with your school to book catch up lessons. If by the end of the year you are still not on track to meet your minimum lesson count, we will, of course, issue a credit or refund to make up the difference.
