Within the academic year (September -July), there are 36-39 teachable weeks that band lessons could be available to you. We know things like unexpected band leader sickness or term time bank holidays may occur during the year, so to account for this, your monthly subscription guarantees a minimum of 33 lessons (including concerts) each year, or the equivalent amount based on when your child started Rocksteady.
When a lesson can’t go ahead because your school has requested to cancel it for any reason other than inset days, SATs week or polling days, it will count towards your guaranteed number of lessons, as your band leader is still scheduled and available on those days.
