When this happens, the lesson still counts towards your guaranteed minimum number of lessons as your band leader is available to teach on that day. For this reason, we're unable to amend your monthly direct debit for an individual missed lesson.
We do work closely with schools to plan ahead and avoid these clashes wherever possible, but there are occasions when other school activities fall on the same day as Rocksteady.
Here’s a bit more information on how our monthly subscription works:
Within the academic year (September-July), there are 36-39 teachable weeks that band lessons could be available to you. To account for things like unexpected clashes with other school events that may occur during the year, your monthly subscription guarantees a minimum of 33 lessons (including concerts) each year, or the equivalent amount based on when your child started Rocksteady.
Lessons that can’t go ahead due to band leader absence, inset days, polling days or Bank Holidays, are not included in your minimum number of lessons.
We understand it's disappointing when a lesson can't go ahead, but we hope your child has a great time on their school trip.
