We’re really sorry if there have been disruptions to your child’s band lessons this term. From time to time, band lessons may be affected by things like unexpected band leader absence or term time bank holidays – which is something we plan for as part of the Rocksteady subscription.
Within the academic year (September–July), there are 36–39 teachable weeks that band lessons could be available to you. Your monthly subscription guarantees a minimum of 33 lessons (including concerts) each year, or the equivalent based on when your child joined - so occasional absences are already accounted for.
We keep a close eye on this and if it looks like your child may not receive their guaranteed minimum number of lessons, we'll work with the school to schedule a catch-up lesson. A credit or refund will of course be given if it isn’t possible to hold a catch-up lesson by the end of the academic year.
If you’d like to check the number of lessons your child has had so far this year, our customer service team can look into this for you. Call us on 0330 113 0330 or email info@rocksteadymusicschool.com.
